I guess you could say I’m a late starter when it comes to the outdoors. Sure, I was in Boy Scouts and camped a few times; but it wasn’t until my mid-thirties that I started to take an interest in really getting out and exploring what nature has to offer.

This blog is a way for me to document my recreational adventures in Arizona with family and friends, and to look back sometimes and reflect on how good life can be. As I tell my children, “Life is what you make it.”
